Librarian's Annual Dinner 2010
Thursday, August 12, 2010 >>5:28 PM

I apologise for the very very belated post about the awesome annual librarian's dinner. I'm gonna make up for it now, yea? :D

Sorry i can't update my blog as often anymore. My time on the computer is slowly decreasing and my studying time slowly rise. ): Just suffer for 3 more months, then i'll have freedom waiting to embrace me. :D

So anyways?

The Librarian annual dinner was on last friday! It's so so much better than last year's one where we just sit and eat horrible japanese food. This year (thank gawd) we had a PROPER dinner. And it was hella amazing! :D

Alya and i came fashionably late (snicker) because we were too engrossed with watching music bank and couldn't stop cheering when SHINee won again! Melor waited for us outside, and then we were in. We came just in time for our headmistress to give her speech and chit chat and took photos with the other awesome librarians. Everybody, EVERYDODY was so prettily dressed! I mean, almost all of the girls wore really pretty dresses and did all those makeup-hair stuff and made them self look all pretty pretty. And most of the guys wore long sleeve shirts and slacks and manage to pull off the classic look.

Exhibit A, pictures with friends, the besties no one could ever ask for. :D

I'm too lazy to upload pictures here cause i already uploaded them in Facebook, so if you do want to see it, just go there, okay? :D

Then, it was time for food. Although my impression on Bukit Kiara's food wasn't very good at the start, but after eating their buffet choices, i changed my mind. It was fairly delicious! They had lamb and beef and stewed potatoes and nice tasting salad. And the cakes weren't too bad, though that red looking jelly really made me squint my eye because it was sooooooooooooooo sour. After filling our stomachs and all, they started this nominee thing for best dressed or most sarcastic, something like that award thing, you know? It was only for form 5's and the polling was really weird. I mean, like martin got gamer, which i don't understand cause he rarely ever played games. And Rebecca got bookworm, which is kinda funny cause she said herself that she rarely ever picks up a book. I? I've got most creative, which is kinda ridiculous because i'm the least creative person you can ever find.

There was a break after that and we all started mingling around again. I quickly grab hold of Pn Wong to get a picture with her.
I would just like to take this opportunity (though she'll never read it) to thank Pn Wong for being such an incredible and understanding and kind and funny librarian teacher. I really enjoyed working under her and the library would never ever be the same of she would to leave. :D

So anyways, it was the performances! :D There were quite a number of performances by the form 2's and 3's and some of them were fairly good, and the others just honestly sucked (i don't mean to be offensive) But the most exciting one was Wai Yip's performance of BONAMANA! OMG, SERIOUSLY, THE WHOLE LOT OF US WERE SCREAMING LIKE FREAKING MANIACS, ALMOST LIKE THE SUPER JUNIOR BOYS ARE DANCING THEMSELVES. But i have to admit, the dance was really well done, the choreography may not be as perfect as Super Junior's one, but it's considered pretty good! :D

The performances continued and the mingling continued. Most of us just chit chatted with each other because we won't ever have the chance to do so anymore since it's our last year in school. The ex-form 5's came in between the performances and made the thing a little bit more interesting. But the highlight of night was Eugene dancing to Gee and run devil run and 2 different tears and i my me mine.

I think he really suited the dance! It was so funny because everybody just started laughing the moment he stepped on stage! Even i couldn't stop laughing! XD

And the nice thing about the dinner was it was filled with k-pop songs. Almost 60% of the song selections were k-pop and most of them the popular ones. Most of us couldn't help but singing along to the song and made a fool out of ourselves. But, it was down right fun! :D

We all managed to make Pn Wong dance to Gee and dragged Pn Cheang up to do sorry sorry. Alya went crazy performing sorry sorry with wai yip. I mean, THEY DANCED TO ALMOST EVERY STEP OF THE SONG! It was so funny because Hannah and i were standing there, dancing to parts we only remember and couldn't stop laughing at ourselves.

But, in the end, it was an awesome filled night. One of the best dinners i've ever been to! Made alot of memories and had a total blast! And in the end, we were all just high.

So yea, that was it. I may have missed a few parts here and there since it happened a week ago. I'm sorry if i did, but thats all i can remember for now. ):

And i guess thats my update, though it's not really considered an update cause i'm writing something that happened a week ago. Here i go rambling again. :D

And i've recently heard that the form 5's in our school this year would have a special graduation. Instead on shaking the teacher's hands and all, we would be wearing those graduation robes and receiving certificates. Thats quite awesome because i've never really had a graduation like that. Let's just hope this thing is true and hope it would be the best graduation ever. :D

So thats it! I'm still very much addicted to Lucifer by SHINee. Their album is just so... awesome. I have to say that this album topped Bonamana a little bit. It's SHINee for you. :D I'm definitely gonna buy their album, since it's so good anyways, even though i already burned the whole album into a disk. :D

Over and out!
